Meet Vanessa Stapleton, (LPC), NCC, MAC, CADC II, CPCS, SAP

Vanessa Stapleton is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), National Certified Counselor (NCC), Master Addiction Counselor (MAC), and a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC II), and a Substance Abuse Professional (SAP). Vanessa recently became certified as a Professional Counselor Supervisor (CPCS).
Vanessa has spent over twelve years in the counseling field serving a diverse population, including individuals, couples, and families, to assist them in their journey toward hope, healing, and empowerment.
Vanessa works from a collaborative strength-based approach with her clients using many different modalities with a focus on Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Trauma-Focused, and Mindfulness Therapy to support the client in a whole-person, strength-based approach.

Mental Health Counseling
We assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of mental health disorders, including anxiety, depression, grief, trauma-related issues, relational concerns, and personality disorders. Talk therapy techniques like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy are used during the sessions.

Substance Use Disorder
Substance use disorders (SUD) are treated on an outpatient basis. We assess, diagnose, and treat. Alcohol use, marijuana, cocaine, and prescription medications. This includes alcohol, marijuana, cocaine, prescription drug abuse, etc. SAP return-to-duty assessments are also conducted on clients who need to complete the process of returning to a safety-sensitive position.

Group Therapy
Mental health group therapy is provided to bring together clients with similar conditions under the guidance of a licensed mental health therapist. The groups are structured in a format that is consistent with presenting problems.
